That's a mighty good question. What exactly do I need my own website for? I haven't even finished visiting all of the other ones on the wonderful World Wide Web, that's for sure. As a matter of fact, I find myself frequenting the same sites over and over and over. ESPN? Check. CNN? Check. SI? Check. Facebook? Check.
It actually gets a bit boring after a while. Even though the news and sports always changes, it does always seem to be just about the same thing. I remember being told by my sister to get a Facebook page a few years ago. I will perhaps never live it down when I said "what do I need a Facebook page for? I barely have time to visit MySpace?" Well, flash forward a few years and I find myself spending entirely too much time on Facebook. So much so, that I have a page for Currently Nameless ( http://www.facebook.com/#!/currentlynameless) that I created and admin, as well as Advantage Sport USA (http://www.facebook.com/#!/advantagesportusa) and now I even find myself as an admin on CSI Allentown (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=297304292067&ref=ts I just found myself caught up in the social media craze so much that I am now hooked on Twitter, tinker with LinkedIn and also dabble with YouTube. Now, if I was only famous and I had people beating down my door to friend, follow, connect or subscribe with me.
