Precision Athletic Surfaces are your sports flooring professionals. As the Executor of Advancement for Precision Athletic Surfaces, I pride myself on being a Trusted Advisor while working with architects, specifiers, interior designers, general contractors, building owners and end users.
I was introduced to the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) in January 2009 when I was invited to a Pittsburgh Chapter meeting . Shortly thereafter, I joined the Allentown Chapter (now Greater Lehigh Valley), as well as the Central Pennsylvania Chapter and have had the opportunity to attend meetings in Williamsport and Philadelphia. I presently hold the position of President of the Vermont Chapter of CSI as of July 1, 2016.
In March of 2010, I attained my Construction Document Technologist (CDT) with the help of a class led by Mitch Miller (now CSI Fellow) of USA Architects. In May of 2010, I attended my first CSI National Convention, CONSTRUCT, in Philadelphia and was also named Co-Chair of Electronic Communications with the Allentown Chapter, including promoting the Allentown Chapter's Product Expo and Educational Seminars www.theCSIexpo.com I moved back to my home state of Vermont in 2012 and became active with the Vermont Chapter of CSI.
I have been fortunate to return to CONSTRUCT in 2011 in Chicago, Phoenix in 2012, Nashville in 2013, Baltimore in 2014, St. Louis in 2015, Austin in 2016, Providence in 2017 and Long Beach, CA in 2018. In 2019, CONSTRUCT returns to the east coast, where it will be held at National Harbor, MD from October 9 to the 11, 2019: constructshow.com NEW in 2019 at CONSTRUCT will be the Product Rep University on Wednesday, October 9th. My latest project is called Let's Fix Construction, an avenue to offer creative solutions, separate myths from facts and erase misconceptions about the AEC industry.
